Better Business Bureau 15th Shred Event
For 15 years, BBB has partnered with trusted BBB Accredited Businesses to bring Secure Your ID Day (SYID) to the Northern Nevada community.
And for 8 years now, BBB Secure Your ID Day has helped collect enough food and donated funds to provide more than 46,000 meals for our community through the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, a BBB Accredited Charity. We are thankful for the community's generous participation.
How did we do on Saturday, October 15, 2022? Here are the numbers:
- 530 participants brought 26,000 pounds of documents to shred.
- Our local community donated enough food and funds to provide more than 10,000 meals was collected for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
THANK YOU to all the volunteers that helped work the event, we couldn't do it without you!
TOGETHER, we educate consumers and businesses about identity theft and fraud, shred tons of personal documents, and help feed our community. It's amazing to see how a few hours on a Saturday morning can make such an impact in our community.
Donate Network Organization
Here at Donate Network Organization; a Nevada State Non-Profit; we work with many different Non-Profits that work with at risk children, foster kids and homeless youth.
We are honored to partner with Roger Coffey (Regional Manager) of our local Domino’s Pizzas; to provide 24 hot pizzas for the youth that are utilizing the Eddy House for shelter, clothing, food, education, health checks and having a safe place to go and stay. Mr.Diaz (CEO of Eddy House) and Staff are giving these at risk youth a fighting chance and hope to continue to move forward.
We were able to give back to not only our community but to our future youth in our city. We look forward to growing and making a difference in the U.S. and around the world.
